My Lake District Year

Another year is nearly over, and so a good time to do a round up of the year.

JANUARY brought heavy snow at the end of the month.

FEBRUARY and more snow.

With snow on the tops the Lake District looked beautiful.

MARCH and Spring appeared in the form of snowdrops.

A visit to Ashness Bridge, showed snow still on the tops.

But the evenings were getting longer.

APRIL and Winter was finally leaving.

JUNE and it was starting to look as though we might actually have a summer.

SEPTEMBER still nice weather, which was just as well for this bunch at Mintfest in Kendal.

DECEMBER probably payment for a nice Summer but it seems to have rained non stop this month. No worry about snow for Christmas guests arriving but worry about floods and high winds.
